Menu Monday- 1/3

Well, last week I did the dreaded walk of shame and went back to Weight Watchers. I've really gotten out of control lately, and it's time to get back on track. Plus, they have a new plan now, which I think is the thing I needed. I had done the old plan so many times that I was very good at cheating myself. Sometimes it just takes something fresh to get you where you need to be. I'm hoping that's the case here. So, with this week's menu plan I have a couple of goals: Stay on plan with WW, and eat primarily out of my pantry and freezer to cut my grocery budget. (I've got to recover from the Christmas and New Years spending LOL)

Monday:  Tamales that my friend gave us- so yummy!, Spanish Rice, Fruit Salad

Tuesday:  Rotisserie Chicken, Spinach Salad, Scalloped Potatoes

Wednesday:  Lasagna- making my own sauce for this, Salad, Garlic Bread

Thursday:  Cauliflower Cheese Soup, Fruit Salad

Friday:  Pizza- I'm gonna try a homemade crust and sauce...  I let you know if it's good.

Saturday:  Burgers on the grill (hopefully good weather), Potato Salad

Sunday:  Pot Roast with potatoes, celery, carrots, Rolls

  1. Hi, I too must get my eating back to "sensible."

We make whole wheat pizza dough every week (and I even sneak in some spinach by cooking a handfull of fresh it in a little water then blending it & using it as the "warm water" in the recipe. I add some cooler water, though, so it's not too hot for the yeast.)

    Happy First week of 2011
