This week on WW I learned that when I get stressed out I stop journaling. That is bad. I need to not do that. I also learned that if I don’t have bananas on hand I don’t eat enough good food. The two are somehow related And, when I weighed in last week knowing I was going to show a gain I learned that I can stick with it and have a better week, in spite of stress. The key is really sticking with it even when you don’t have the losses every week you want, and forgiving yourself when you gain.
Monday: Pasta with Bolognese Sauce, Garlic Bread, Salad
Tuesday: BBQ Chicken Burritos, Fruit, Mixed Veggies
Wednesday: Tilapia with garlic roasted tomatoes and corn, Mandarin Orange Cake
Thursday: Cheese Enchiladas, Spanish Rice
Friday: Baked French Toast, Fruit Salad
Saturday: Snack Dinner
Sunday: Beef Pot Roast, Rolls

ReplyDeleteI think is so true of many things in life. Lately I have been really trying to examine my small, everyday choices to see how well they fit with what God would want and I often feel like I'll never measure up. I think in this case, too, the key is asking for forgiveness, forgiving myself, and continuing to try to make Godly choices instead of allowing myself to get discouraged.
