GratiTuesday- My husband
This weekend was my birthday, and I just HAVE to dedicate this week's GratiTuesday to my husband. He was so sweet to me on my birthday, not wanting me to lift a finger. I had already spent the weekend cleaning out the older boys' room and I need to finish up the last of the touch ups, and pick up the rest of the house that had been neglected while I was working on that, so he went to work with me helping me to finish it up! I should back up and say he made me coffee and breakfast first :) Once we were done with that he did all of the taxi service for the day- pick the kids up from their scout camp out, take them to youth group, go to the store for me, and pick the kids up from youth group. And, to top it off he made me dinner- homemade chicken fried steak (that he had marinated overnight), homemade mashed potatoes, and "Crustless Cranberry Pie" - which the recipe claims is the love child of cake and pie... It's right :)
I spent the whole day feeling completely adored by my husband and that meant more to me than anything else could. I am so grateful for such a thoughtful husband, who is truly my best friend.
