I’ve spent all my grocery money for the month (except about $50), so I have to cook from the pantry.  It’s ok, though because there’s a LOT in there, so really, I would need to cook from the pantry anyway.  I’ll spend the $50 on milk between now and the end of the month, so I can’t really supplement my recipes at all.  That is the challenge for today….  I think I’ve got this covered Monday:

I’ve had a couple of successful weeks of low grocery spending.  I did decide to buy the bacon and chicken from Zaycon Foods, and when I went to buy it they were sold out of Chicken!  It’s fine, though, because I have a lot still in the freezer.  I also got two other friends to split the Bacon with me, so once they pay me back my grocery budget will be back in check again   It always works out

Well, I got back on the stick this week, and as a result lost 2.2 pounds!  I still have 2 pounds to go to be to my “pre-Christmas” weight, and a few more pounds to be back under my all time lowest, which I was at in October.  I’m doing my best not to be frustrated with myself, because life happens.  My schedule had gotten completely out of control, and that was the main reason for my slipping.

Barnes and Noble has a Story Time section on their website where they have several books read to you buy authors and celebrities.  I set the babies up with the laptop and pushed play.  They watched like 5 different stories!  It moves to the next

I have some very exciting news! I get to go to the Women of Faith Conference!!! I am so excited I’m giddy! I’ve wanted to go for a number of years, but I’ve never been able to go, but this October I get to go!!!   Wow, August already?????  Oh MY…..  Well, it’s definitely hot enough around here! This past week has been a pretty good WW week for me, my weigh in last Monday showed a 2.4 pound loss, which made me pretty happy.  This gave me a total loss to date of 18.8 pounds.  I’m knocking on that 20 pound door!!!!  YIPEE! Buy Read   I recently received a copy of the book “Max on Life” by Max Lucado.  This book takes many of the questions that he has been asked throughout his career and answers them in a frank manner.  Each question has it’s own chapter and the chapters are relatively short.
